Guest guest Posted January 6, 2008 Report Share Posted January 6, 2008 Just wanted to pop in and say hello all to the group, especially to Annette here since I also live in Mesa and hadn't thought there'd be anyone in this group in the same city as me. Somehow, silly enough, makes me feel a bit less alone in this. I was just diagnosed with CM1 of 6-7mm via an MRI this week, but I got the news from my PT - who had no idea what it was and had to look it up - and don't talk to my neuro until Monday. (We both thought the tonsils referred to were the ones in my throat and were really confused on how that related to the nerve/muscle damage I was getting treated for...haha.) I've been doing as much research as I can on my own, and I must say I love the website here - extremely helpful and I liked getting the logistics on things. I must say it still scares the giblets outta me but I'm also grateful to finally have an answer to all the problems that have been piling up for a while, and somehow linking them together - at least possibly. Everything from extreme vertigo and headaches to chest pains to nerve damage in my neck and arms, and so much else in between. It's so crazy new to me but I've already learned a lot just watching the list here the past couple days. It's so great the group you have going on here. So I'm just taking the first baby steps here, not knowing what'll be coming up for me, but I hope to learn from ya'll here and get to know you. It's fantastic to know this is here.
