Hi Vera,

We recently went through a bout with green stools, and I spent hours researching

it on the

boards - many different possibilities. One mentioned was too much of one

probiotic. I had

been giving my son Kirkman ProBio Gold for a long time and it was his only

probiotic, so I

stopped that one and started rotating in the new probios that I had been meaning

to try

(Primal Defense, Theralac, etc.). His poops immediately cleared up, although

they are still

pale, for which I am now giving him taurine (1000 mg/day). The only other change

we

made at that time was adding Bethenachol for gut motility. He was stooling only

every 3-4

days on his own, although he was not costipated. The Bethenachol worked like a

charm,

and now he goes daily.

and off for almost one week. I always heard bad bacteria, but he has no

behaviors to

indicate that it is a problem.

(chicken pox like

bumps that have started to scab over) on his stomach and butt - and to a lessor

extent his

legs. My son has one of the highest HHVI tithers (IgG) that I've heard == if

not the

highest. Any chance it is related to the Valtrex? I wouldn't think so as we

have been on

Valtrex almost 7 months.
