Guest guest
Since I can come in here and vent, I think it only right that I update you when things change. Today there was change... and some typical stuff too California (especially Northern) has seen three incredible stroms hit the coast in recent days with another one coming. I have noted barometric pressure in my area and compared to my pain and found a great number. 915mb is where I am not-so-good. Below 905 is down right miserable and below 900 I am in bed and not moving. At that level, each movement causes such great pain, I would rather NOT even exist. That being said, I also got an email from my NS tonight. He writes that Dr. Milhorat and his associates have just published their experience on cranial settling. They did traction under anesthesia in 55 of their patients and found small changes at the base of the skull that suggest instability. The procedure involved taking measurements from x-rays. However, at the end of the study they show scans on one patient that indicated that some of the same information may be obtained by not doing traction under anesthesia, but instead just getting an upright MRI scan. So he would like to get an upright MRI scan. **Question** Have any of you had this? What was the outcome? My day got a little better yet when I got a call from my Social Security worker. She told me she was going to close my case... BIG gasp . She told me there was a chance it would get pulled for random sampling, but if it does not, I should hear from the local office about depositing my benefit checks soon. I am so relieved!!! You all have been sooo supportive to me and now so much stress is that close to being GONE. Keep your fingers crossed my case will not go to sampling - just for the sake of time. Well, that is it for now. I wish you all NO pain and hope I can support you in ways you have me. Terri
