My cardiologist actually prescribed it and the B vitamins seem to be important for a number of things. I stay on a multivitamin with iron that has saved me many times when I was not eating. I just added extra vitamin C due to the information on Ehler danlos syndrome and collagen. I also found out that we need to stay hydrated. I cannot have the port for fluids obviously since I am the infection queen so I am trying to keep drinking as much water as I can stand. Kathy Vitamin B and Magnesium have been found to be two key vitamins to help with depression.
