Thanks to Von and Gibson for alerting us to a letter in the

Daily Mail today, 20 November 2008, in response to an article about Esther

Rantzen going into the jungle game " I'm a celebrity get me out of here " , in

which she mentioned that her daughter Wilcox, who has been severely

affected with ME for years, has been 'cured' by the Lightning Process.

This one from Zena Gibson says that she had ME, tried management techniques

for 12 years, stumbled on the Lightning Process, was sceptical but has been

'cured' and uses it to stay well.

Zena Gibson's letter is full of factual inacuracies and opinions not

supported by any evidence.

I hope that a good few people will pick up on some or all of these and reply

or Daily Mail readers

could assume that she speaks with authority.

e.g. ME is called CFS " in medical terms "

" It is hard to believe that real physical symptoms are linked to

adrenaline but they are "

" They called it Yuppie flu - and that's the key -- if you are laid

back and don't care if you

miss work, you won't get ME "

Here's a good one for somebody to write in: If Zena believed that there was

no point in trying alternative

treatments because, if they worked, we would all get better, why -- using

the same logic -- does she

think that LP will do the trick, when after using it, so many remain ill.
