Guest guest
Hi Liz, Here's the list I mentioned last week. It may not be up to date. Also, I have an old Broda list for some states, just let me know what state. , if you want feel free to post this in the files on the website for future reference. HTH, Bj Doctor resource/finder list TIFM The Institute for Functional Medicine http://www.functionalmedicine.org/index.asp AAEM American Academy of Environmental Medicine http://www.aaem.com/ ABHM American Board of Holistic Medicine http://www.holisticboard.org/ ACAM American College for the Advancement of Medicine http://www.acam.org/ AHMA American Holistic Medical Association http://www.holisticmedicine.org/ Dr. Bruce Rind Treats adrenals and thyroid http://www.drrind.com/ Federation of State Medical Boards Find links to state medical boards http://www.fsmb.org/ Shomon's Top Doc List http://www.thyroid-info.com/topdrs/ Armour Thyroid Armour Thyroid includes a " doc finder " - Beware some docs listed do not prescribe Armour - ask first! http://www.armourthyroid.com/ Broda Foundation Broda was a doctor who had hypothyroidism himself. He developed a protocol for diagnosing thyroid disease with basal body temperatures and treating with Armour Thyroid. For $15, they will send you an information packet and a list of docs for your state. Ask for the lists for surrounding states, too. **If there is no BB doc in your state, and you do not ask for the other states, all you get is their basic information packet, and they keep your $15. http://www.brodabarnes.org/ s Syndrome Site Doc Finder While the s Syndrome Protocol isn't recommended, the docs on this list are most often willing to Rx Armour or synthetic t3. Ask a lot of questions if you want to see one of these docs. http://www.wilsonssyndrome.com/TreatingDocs.htm " Doctors to Avoid " Read and post about negative thyroid doctor experiences on this site. http://www.voy.com/171167/ > > > > I am in search of a new doctor and am requesting pointers. Guest guest
I live in land. I read through several of the websites but many did not have any doctors listed in land. The top docs list tends to have endo's that only prescribe synthroid, at least in the MD area. The latest endo that I have used to be on the top docs list but is no longer listed, which I would love to know why. > > > > > > I am in search of a new doctor and am requesting pointers. Guest guest
I added these all separately to our Links section--thanks a bunch, BJ! (Your previous message got held as " spam " -- can't figure out how to turn that off.) > > Hi Liz, > > Here's the list I mentioned last week.
