Guest guest
Hi everyone, I have an 8 year old son whose MRI at the age of 2 showed a 2 cm. herniation. The neurologist told me it was nothing to worry about. He also told me to not worry about the fact my son was diagnosed with autism and verbal apraxia. I put the chiari on the back burner while doing other therapies for his autism. I decided to begin researching again and found I have symptoms. I just went through lumbar spinal decompression (non-surgical) I still have severe back pain, headaches, and cysts on my lower back. These are called Tarlov cysts? Why did the chiropracter fail to tell me this? Also, the pain in my back radiates. Upper always hurts and middle/lower about 70% of the day. Is this consistent with chiari malformation? I don't have insurance and owe this chiro. a lot of money. I wish I had gotten an MRI first. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, le
