Guest guest
I almost forgot to post to this group....so sorry. Just wanted to let everyone know that my " out-patient " Chiari surgery was fine! My surgeon did an excellent job and I would recommend him anyday! My surgery was on the 7th....and I'm already up and doing stuff. I probally need to make sure to keep things slowed down...but overall I am feeling very good. I have been feeling pretty good for about 4 days now. A lot of people were very concerned and scared when I told them I was having it on an out patient basis...but it was fine. No problems! I would do it this way If I did it all over again...not that I want to ever do this again! lol...The worst part of the surgery is the neck pain and head pressure that I felt really bad for the first week. I had the surgery on the 7th...went home on the 8th....so I would have hurt at the hospital or at home...but I much rather be at home. I think it's very important to make sure that someone at home is going to be there 24/7 for at least a week. I just wanted to make sure I let everyone know that I'm doing very well and that I survived the out-patient thing...AND THANK YOU to everyone that has been supportive and has been willing to offer advice or just words of encouragement. I do appreciate everyone!
