Guest guest
hi this joyce, i needed to talk about my appnt. i had a cardiac ablation in sept and next day and since then i have been experienceing auras in my vision. not sure if that has caused it but the connection makes sence because it began after the procedure. my electrophylist, was great dr and he fixed the problem he needed to and always willing to listen to my concerns. i know to consider things happen even when precautions are taken. i have been concerned because stroke is a possible side effect. i had appnt with a neurologist i had been to once before that i did not want to return to because he dosnet listen and was intimating. he said he had no comment about that wether i had a stroke and to call 911 if the auras happen. he asked if i am depressed and mentioned i have lupus after reading reports, also mentioned my anxioety, which i already know i deal with, and asked where i work and made a smart a-- remark about my being in school at my age and should be working. he said he had never heard of my description of my auras. he said my problem is not neurological and reffered me back to my eye dr and pcp, saying because i have floateres i may have a detached retna. my eye dr has already seen me checked and dialiated my eyes and had reffered me to an neuro-opti at uc davis but that dr said i need to see a neurologist. the neurologist said it is a cardialogist issue when i told him my heatbeat has slight difference while the vision problem occures, but my cardilogist told me to see a neurologsit. my cardilogist stil saw abnormal things on my stress test regarding plumonary hypertension which went higher, but is monitering it. i wonder if a rise in higher blood pressue can be related to heartbeat feeling stronger. (to me it feels physical.) my blood pressure has been somewhat higher and i asked the neuroligist if that could be connected to my vision stuff or headaches and he said i need to see my pcp for blood pressue and my headache is something i have a lot anyway and migraines werent brought up. then he told me he dosenet want to see me for these reasons again. i am not feeling any less anxious or positive after this dr appnt! thanks i just needed to talk, joyce
