Guest guest
I just wanted to show my appreciation for this site. I am learning so many things. Over a year ago my Dr. referred me to an endocrinologist. I had lost hope for any help at that time and just gave up. I couldn't make it to the appt. because of no vehicle. But recently I have learned that my insurance carrier actually provides rides. And because of the several specialists I have to see, they tripled my allowed rides. My RN case Mgr. calls me every mo. too now. Which is so totally awesome. She recently sent me a list of many endo. specialists that accept my insurance and told me to give them a call first and make sure they are taking new patients, then call my Dr. back and have a new referral made to a specific one that I choose. This gives me the opportunity to check them out first. So I made several calls yesterday and when the holidays are over, I am doing this. I am going to find some answers and some help. I would really like to know if anyone has had any kidney problems with this disease? I have a problem now that stems from immune diseases. And I really don't have any autoimmune diseases. So we don't know how I got it. It WILL destroy my kidneys eventually. So any input would be appreciated. I hope you all have a beautiful, love filled holiday.
