Trigger Point Injection - Problem with Indentation & Adhesion. Advice Please.

Hi, all.

2 weeks ago I had a trigger point injection where some medication was injected

(lidocaine and some steriod " acetyl... " I can't remember the name).

Anyhow, at the site the medication was injected, the skin seems to be sticking

to whatever is below it (muscle? tendon?) and there is an indentation. The

dimple or dent is about the size of a 1/2 ping pong ball.

Also, the skin that is stuck has what looks like a little bruise in color,

slightly pinkish as if I was poked there. And the surface of the skin looks

like a rug burn (when you skin your knees on a rug, kind of smooth skin looking

and shiny-ish).

What is this? Has this happened to anyone else?
