------------------------------

Suzanne Shaw has had much publicity this week - including Daily Mirror, Now

magazine, The Sun, New! Magazine, at least one other TV programme interview

and, this morning, LK (i.e. Lorraine ) Today.

For those who didn't see it, the content was much the same as in the other

media (scroll down from my letter link below).

I did notice, however, that she played down things by saying that it had

been exaggerated - on two occasions during the interview.

Nevertheless, she repeats that she was diagnosed with " Chronic Fatigue

Syndrome, which is a form of M.E. " and that her mother had M.E., was in bed

(don't know whether all the time) for 2 years.

Luckily, she says, she was diagnosed early so that it could be treated but

she doesn't say with what.

Lorraine said something like: 'It used to be called " Yuppie flu " ; how

crazy was that. " -- There is scope here for someone to reply that they still

do call it " Yuppie flu " and, indeed, it is absolutely crazy.

I was hoping there was going to be a feature about Suzanne Shaw on GMTV that

you could perhaps click to but, unless I've missed something, I can't find a

link to her anywhere.

You can, however, send them a message at " contact us " , as I have done, which

you may read, when logged in, here:

http://www.mefreeforall.org/November-2008.1327.0.html#c6169

You can click to the contact us page (or you may prefer to go to

www.gm.tvhome page and look around for yourself.

May I suggest that as many viewers, who are able to receive GMTV, write a

response. Some may offer to be an M.E. interviewee, possibly from home or

their bed.

If it's all too much for you, just go to our joke of the day here

http://www.mefreeforall.org/Joke-of-the-Day.378.0.html

and exciting news about genes responsible for shyness.

Cheers
