Guest guest
I was decompressed by Dr Oro, November of 2002. One of the most important things I didn't understand about it all was the fact of damage being done, damage that could not be repaired. When I was diagnosed, my Dr. told me very little, in fact, he didn't even mention that I had a syrinx. After I finally began seeing Dr Oro, he did tell me I would get worse as time went by. He may have told me I could be damaged permanently, but, I can't remember. The pain became so terrible, yet, it would go away also, for a time, a few days of relief, but then the time came when the pain wouldn't ever calm down at all. I returned once again to Dr Oro, with all of my MRI films including the ones I had just had done. This was the day he said I did in fact have damage to my C-spine that surgery would not repair. I was overstated. We scheduled my surgery to hoping only stop the progression. I was very lucky because the large syrinx collapsed as the Dr hoped and the constant headaches became less often. I would do it all over again, I only wish I had done it sooner. Warm Regards, Judy Marie _____________________________________________________________ New tax software helps the numbers add up.
