Guest guest
Hi all, Me again. I have a question for you all. I haven't had surgery -- no syrinx -- although recommended because the herniation is wider not longer than originally diagnosed and it is causing the CSF flow to be limited, I have decided against it. Most days I'm good. I have a hemangomia in my spine that my family doc recommends I be very careful on taking anything with blood thinners in it. I thought he said ibuprofen fell in that category (thought being the operative word)...I have a call in to him. Anyway, my head is absolutely going to explode off my head. I keep taking Tylenol all the time, but it's not touching it. I just want to go to bed and I can't. I'm waiting for my family doc to help me find the perfect doc to handle this...he's researching too, but in the meantime I'm going to come unglued if it keeps hurting like this...I'm nauseous from it. Is there anything else over the counter I can take that works well. I don't have time to stop working and sit with an icepack on my neck. Thanks in advance.
