Guest guest
Hi all, I've had the WORST headache for the past two days. I'm sensitive to light, nausea, occipitals pulseating yesterday, feels like temples are in a vice. So frustrated with doctors. " If it doesn't stop you should go to ER " Why, so they can tell me I have chiari? No one has ever checked my pressure except during surgery in 2000. I hear talk of " High and Low " pressure headaches. How do you all know this? is it just if you have shunts that you can tell this? I know it's dangerous to have Spinal Taps, in ER. Don't know if I'll end up there tonight. Hope not. I'm typing with my eyes closed because of light sensitivity and nausea. Dr called in Maxalt and Zofran, ready to take another Maxalt. Don't know what to do, I'd need to call a taxi to go to ER , no family around. Cant afford another bill and I'm scheduled for surgery in May at TCI (ICT, TC). TCI says I should see a pain dr. What do you do when u cant get in for weeks, and the ones u have seen are just drug dealers in lab coats. (No offense, the ones I've seen-couldn't care less about me). HELP I've tried ice, soaking head in tub warm water, blah, blah, blah... Any ideas?
