Guest guest
Hi, I've been to TCI twice. My first visit was when I had my testing done up there. If you have insurance & they state they will not pay out of network you can appeal that, but my advice would be to have your testing locally & take your images up with you. In 2005 I know that my testing was more than $10,000. It really depends on what is ordered. Just recently I had to make another appointment with TCI. My secretary at TCI, faxed my orders for testing to a facility locally so that my insurance would pay for the tests (but you need to request that!). She also mailed the script orders to me. I needed them when I went for my appts at the imaging center. Communication with your secretary & nurse at TCI is very important! Getting all my tests done was successful & the insurance compamy paid in full. Sadly, I had to cancel my attempt to return to TCI, due to finances. My insurance just would not budge this time & my attempts to find assistance through TCI failed. Sometimes we feel like we're drowning & no one will throw us a life preserver. The point being is........make sure everything is arranged & you know exactly what is expected of " you " . And I can't say this enough.......Check, Double check, Re-check, & Check again. Make sure your prepared & everything is out on the table! CVG
