Essential fatty acids are good for dyslexia. However, interestingly, some

kids (dyslexic ones that is) get hyperactive when given oil. Personally, I

think it's because their brains can't handle good nutrients!!

Hi Stuart,

But surely EFAs are supposed to be good for hyperactivity...we go

round in circles unless we look at the gut first and ensure good

functioning of digestion and absorption, which there probably isn't

it diet of fizzy drinks & junk food

All the best,

Noreen

Hi all,

when I grew up, ALL Norwegian children were given cod-liver oil, eighter at

school or at home, all the time during the whole winter (from september to

april), but, the incidence of dyslexia was the same as in the rest of Europe (I

guess, I have not heard anything else).
