Guest guest
I have a question regarding TCI and insurance. I have read all the " hints " and I have helped my daughter file appeals to her Rhode Island BCBS to allow more money for the intake appts. above " reasonable and customary " since it was not nearly enough for the TCI appt. She has had no luck with her appeals, they just decline and say that is ALL she is getting. " Go to local doctors " . We were wondering if anyone has had luck getting insurance companies to pay MORE than what they determine is reasonable and customary. She wants to schedule her tethered cord surgery since her symptoms are getting worse as time goes by, but she is frightened that the bills afterward will be far more than her husband and her will ever be able to pay off. She tried calling her insurance company today to " discuss " her concerns but all she got was " 80% of reasonable and customary " and quite a bit of attitude. Any and all advice, good or bad, will be appreciated. Thanks,
