Hello all

Happy New Year, and to start the ball rolling for 2006 can anyone help me

with the following query?

The patient has suffered " une brutale rupture de son pontage

femoro-jambier " . The graft is subsequently identified as a " pontage

femoro-tibial posterieur " .

I'm not certain how to translate " femoro-jambier " . I've found

" femoro-posterior tibial " grafts described as " femoro-distal " (ie

infrapopliteal) grafts but " femoro-jambier " also seems to include

" femoro-popliteal " .

In this context it's not going to be a problem if I use " femoro-distal " but

is there a more comprehensive term that would cover " femoro-popliteal "

grafts as well?
