Wendi's back! Sorry took so long! NCC

Hi Group: Sorry if you think I dropped off the face of the earth. I

had no internet at home and really did not feel up to talking on the

phone. I am back at work and back on the phone and computer. I came

back to work b4 I hurt myself and cleaned my dirty house. Here I am

sitting and only using my brain. Dr B said to stay out of work 4 weeks

so I am only 4 days early.

My surgery went well. I had a few weird complications and spent most

of my time in CCU. I only moved to the main floor Sunday night and

then was discharged Monday afternoon. The ride home was the worst.

When I woke up, I was in pain, but otherwise felt good. I was thirsty

and hungry. I was able to get something to drink and some jello. The

next am I had breakfast. I felt pretty good. By the afternoon, I was

complaining of a bad HA, they had me out of bed in the chair. I tried

to eat lunch, but ending up vomiting, my poor dh had to leave. I was

still very sick. The PA came and took my drain out. He said I it was

acting like a vacumn and sucking out CSF which is why I was so sick.

He said I would be better in 5 or 6 hours. It took 12. I finally felt

better and was able to get out and start walking around the hallway.

I still have pain, but am hopeful. I get better day by day. My bladder

issues seem to be gone. I have only had a CM HA once, last Friday

along with nausea. It was strange, since it has been so long. Of

course since I am not a patient person I was upset, but remembered I

have to wait at least 6 months for many things to resolve.

I hope you all have been as well as you can be. I have missed you and

thought of you all. I am so sorry to not have kept in touch. My dh was

not good. I know he called once,he only called my mom twice and

she was not happy about that. He hates the phone as it is part of his

job. I have lots of work to do, so I will tell you more later.
