Guest guest
After having been treated by my PC for migraines for four weeks with four different migraine meds, I finally got into the neurologist. Guess what.....I HAVE MIGRAINES! LOL! Finding my Chiari was incidental but is not the cause of my headaches. Blah, Blah, Blah....I am sure you have all hear these words so many times before. He looked at my MRI and at least acknowledged my Chiari. He measured it from the wrong points and told me I had a 13 mm herniation when actually Charnel and I came up with 11 mm. The man had the nerve to read the radiologist report, which he had sitting to the right of the monitor and point to the screen as if they were his findings. I might have believed him had I not read that same report 20 times myself and her were pointing to the screens that coincided with the findings. The truth is, after studying my MRIs and watching the TCI videos, my friend and I knew more about this than the brain doctor. I pointed out my semi sphere pituitary on the MRI and asked if that could be the reason for my hormone and thyroid problems. He scanned to another screen that I had not looked at yet and pointed to a little bean looking thing in the back of my brain and said, " nope, your pituitary looks good " . Funny, on my SAG view of my MRI it is CLEARLY a half circle. I searced and searched for the picture he showed me when I got home. I found it. I am happy to report MY THIRD VENTRICLE looks great;) What a moron. On New Years Day, I didn't even know I had this thing and now I am smarter than my local neurologist! Thanks Charnel and Sandy for helping me get this smart! in Oregon
