Guest guest
Hey, this might seem like a really random question, but I was wondering if anyone else has ever expierenced a temporary stop of headaches? Ok, let me explain. I have ACM type 1 and the reason i got diagnosed is because I had headaches about every day starting in highschool (i'm a junior in high school now) which got progressively worse until they turned into persistent, daily migraines. I was on topamax at first, but that didn't sit well with me, and then he put me on Keppra with acetolzalamide (diamox) for about the past year. Well, I kept forgetting to do things and the like, so I forgot to take my meds. (Keppra is a real downer anyway... alot happier off of it.) I haven't touched keppra or the diamox since before thanksgiving. I know just going off your meds is a bad thing, but I just didn't want to take them anymore. I was frustrated, tired, depressed and just unable to concentrate. As soon as I stopped the medication, about a week later my mood lifted and the like. Well, I've only had one mild migraine since. I've had a few headaches, but nothing serious. It's insane. I don't know if this is normal or what, (and I know i should feel liberated) but I'm just wondering if this cessation of symptoms has happened to another person, and if they expierenced an attack of symptons randomly afterwards. (I'm worried im going to wake up back to migraines every day like i did before) There has been no other significant change in my life that would indicate something else is causing the migraine change!! Thanks so much!!
