Guest guest
<<Started episcleritis about three weeks ago, classical symptoms. Have been to GP to confirm diagnosis>> Dear Frances, I haven't treated this condition as such but have some thoughts that might help in formulating an approach. Many eye problems in adults stem from having measles as children (and maybe even from having measles vaccine). ?Is this what homeopaths call a miasm? So maybe looking at ways of correcting a childhood weakness would help. Anenome pulsatilla internally might help with pain ( and is useful for childhood exanthemata). Sometimes eye conditions have a link with liver functioning. So liver herbs can help. You can use hydrosols of anti inflammatory essential oils as local eyebaths such as cornflower, chamomile etc; also use as a base to add drops of tincture etc. I often use Optrex as a base which helps with the sterility-maintenance.
