After reading in Hulda about making lipstick with beet powder, I searched for a while and eventually spotted some on a website. There is more powder than I would ever need for lipstick - how are you using it, and what does it do for you?

Regards

Rowena

After getting fresh milk home tonight and starting a new batch, Iwhipped up a smoothie of the kefir milk, 2 peaches, frozen orangeconcentrate, touch of cinnamon and ginger and beet root powder, honeyto sweeten a tad. YUMMY!

Hi ... I use the beet root powder in many drinks, salads, or anyplace

I can sneak it into for its nutritional value without making things

appear too color-distorted that they are unappetizing. Now, with some

drinks, of course the red color just makes them more appealing

looking, so they're a freebie for extra nutrition. On red meat ..

another nutritive freebie. (In mashed potatos .. probably no, " pink "

mashed potatos are not too appealing even for my eyes! My husband is a

" good sport " with my witchy recipes but pink potatos cross the line

for him too ... haven't tried it with the grandkids yet!!) But tuna

salad, some; gravies, some; and several drink types.

I tried it some years ago as lipstick too but no real lasting effect

it seemed. How did yours turn out?? Joyce
