What I found helped in our situation, was to have a duplicate copy of

the medical report concerning the MRI, that I handed to the medical

staff for inspection. Most nurses didn't have a clue, but doctors were

more receptive to this information.

This way, we weren't treated as " Hypocondriacs " , or sent home with the

proverbial-take an aspirin and go to bed!

I carried any medical info necessry, with me at all times, because I

never knew when we would land in the ER.
