VERY new to diagnosis and scared

Just received my diagnosis. I have had neck pain and headaches for

years...now the vertigo has started. I don't see a neurosurgeon until

May. In the meantime...my diagnosis is left to what I read on the web

(very scary!) and my imagination!

Are there any meds to treat this? How can you alleviate symptoms? Do

you notice your symptoms seem to come and go...bad days and good? OR

are the symptoms pretty much all the time.

I am also having panic attacks. I can't decide if this is related and

OH NO! I am getting progressively worse....or if my anxiety problem I

have had for years is taking over again.

Any advice, help, words of encouragement would be greatly appreciated.
