Guest guest Posted December 17, 2008 Report Share Posted December 17, 2008 Hello -- new here. I have severe M.E. -- mostly bedridden (due to pain.) Is there any consensus in the research community as to whether or not I am contagious? I have been sick for 16 years (was functioning pretty good until 2005 when I had a huge flare that left me bedridden. So it's possible I had active viral activity 3 1/2 years ago) The reason I am asking is because I fell in love with someone who has Multiple Sclerosis and am wondering if I should allow this relationship to happen or not. I'm worried that if his immune system is already compromised then I could make him worse? I'd never forgive myself if I gave somebody else this horrible disease... Any thoughts?
