Guest guest
Hello everyone: Hope everyone feels as well as can be today. For those of us in the NE of the US, the storm is probably making most feel pretty poopy today. I have a question for anyone who has had the TC surgery. I am 6 weeks post op and feel pretty darn good! Hooray! I have a wierd thing though. When I bend over, I feel like something is poking me in the back at my incision site. From the inside out! When I was in the hospital, the PA told me, Dr M put a mesh covering to replace the opening in the dura. Could this be what is poking me? It does not hurt, but feels weird. This has been going on about 2 weeks now. Of course I have only been bending over for about that time. I wanted to know if this is normal? Does anyone else feel this? Could the mesh be bent? Do I need to be concerned or just chalk it up to one more strange and wonderful thing to deal with? As always your input is appreciated!
