Guest guest
Good morning, All! (, thank you for posting about keeping positive.) I have two rather simple questions this morning: 1) (Prefaced by the understanding that " size does not matter " ): In a lot of the study literature I've read, Chiari is diagnosed as 3-5 mm herniation. My MRI's read 8mm herniation, Borderline Chiari. What is borderline about this? Is this another case of the the knowledge of the radiologist playing a role, or is there a " borderline " between levels of Chiari? 2) I've heard of absent gag reflex being a red flag warning for trouble, but do people often get overactive gag reflex instead? --Our pediatrician is at a loss for why my son can't stop gagging. Currently he's thinking it must be some kind of a tick. Thanks for your help. Ingrid
