Guest guest
I am also very sensitive to cleaning solutions and fragrances. I am usually very careful about avoiding situations where you might run into these things. I even steer clear of the aisles at stores that have the various cleaning supplies, but you can't avoid everything. I wound up having to take a breathing treatment at the pulmonologist's office. It seems a sales rep from a pharmaceutical company came in and she was wearing some sort of cologne or perfume. It not only set me off but it set off another patient AND the nurse practitioner, who also has asthma. We all wound up with breathing treatments. I can't believe the young lady from the drug company was so clueless. All you can do is all you can do I suppose. Good luck, Tom > > You certainly have had a time lately. I know what you mean about perfumes. My daughter picked me up to go shopping last week. She had the most horrible perfume on. I told her I didn't mean to hurt her feelings, but she should throw that perfume right in the trash. I had to use my rescue inhaler. It was just awful. You are right, they don't understand. They don't mean to do this to us. People who don't have asthma, just don't think about it. Hope you feel better soon. Guest guest
Thanks Marge, I'm blowing a consistent 490. I've now had 3 readings with that number so I'm excited, but will still be very cautious on what I do Terry I know God will not give me anything I can't handle. I just wish that He didn't trust me so much. ~Mother Teddy Bear's Early Learning ProgramEstablished August of 1992 From: asthma [mailto:asthma ] On Behalf Of MargeSent: Saturday, August 02, 2008 11:45 PMTo: asthma Subject: Re: Banning cologne from my house You certainly have had a time lately.
