Guest guest
yes - this is a very meaningful discussion, huh?!! I am soooo used to the weirdest pronounciations of my name that I hardly know how to say it myself the right way - it is nice when in holland because people automatically say it corectly because they see the I's as theya re pronounced - in dutch it is spelled phonetically. Isrealis of course also say it correctly. On the very rare occasions I have met another Ilanit - one had a dad who was Irish and spelled it Illanyt - kinda celtic with all those L's some Aussies pronounce it very oddly - with the broad australians twang - Ilaaaaaanat! of boy! purpleveg wrote: LOL Ilanit don't you love this?
