Guest guest
>Has anybody please got a recipe for a solid bubble >bath slice. Hi Nia, Welcome aboard! I guess my first question is " what is a solid bubble bath slice? " . I once saw a large glycerin soap sold in the form of a loaf. It was sold with a cutting board and cutter that looked like a cheese cutter. So you could slice off pieces of the glycerin soap as you needed it. No need to add more. Yes, you can make soap as hard as commerical soap. But you need to know your oils, what they do, and how to put the recipes together to achieve this. This is not a thing a new soaper can expect to pick up in a few tries. <G> There is also the way you make soap, if you discount water, and so forth. The less water you use, the faster the drying time, but when doing this with hot process soap making you have to know oils well in order to predict how much you can reduce the water to prevent problems with soaps ending up cracked looking, flaky, etc. It is really easy to predict recipes once you get the hang of it though...the key is to experiment a lot and not get discouraged. = ) Dee ·´¯`·.. ><((((º>``·.¸:.¸:.¸.·´¯`·.><((((º> .¸:.¸.·´¯`·...¸><((((º> ·´¯`·: me >^;;^< >^;;^< >^;;^< >^;;^< >^;;^< ow ·´¯`·.. ><((((º>``·.¸:.¸:.¸.·´¯`·.><((((º> .¸:.¸.·´¯`·...¸><((((º>·´¯`·: ·´¯`·.. ><((((º>``·.¸
