Frustrated.....venting....NCC

One of these days some Doctors will realise that as parents we know our kids

better than they do....or we should.  Last Friday I took Grace to the ER, I told

them that it looks like it is her second outbreak of Shingles, I was told

no...that is was scarlet fever that she had and sent me home and said that Grace

could go to camp.  On thursday at work I was doing camp and emergency paperwork

for hurricanes and i got them all flustered and while in trying to piece them

back correctly 3 pages staples together came up and gave me a paper cut to my

eye...I would of never thought of a paper cut to the eye.  Anyway, not only is

my cornea cut but I also have shingles in my eye.  I just want to call back up

to the local ER and gave that PA a piece of my mind.  Graces shingles had dried

before she went to camp so i know she wasnt contagious...or she could of

effected 350 campers.  Does anyone else deal with shingles?

 

Sorry about the venting...but sometimes you just want to scream at the doctors,

trust me I have...that is the only reason why grace is taken care of properly. 

I am sure there is some kind of warning that says " overly cautious mom " in her

file. LOL, I have to be...i am a single mom .

 

Anyway, thank you for reading my frustration.
