Guest guest
Hello everyone its been almost 9 months since my last post. I have an appointment scheduled for the 28th of this month at TCI. My question for all of you is this, what are my chances of going to NY and being told " were not sure whats wrong with you " this has been what Ive gotten used to hearing from doctors and specialist the past 3 yrs. How well does TCI screen people before they travel all the way to NY? This trip is very expensive and not the most exciting thing to do when youve never been there and you dont feel well. I'm sure all of you who have been to TCI can relate. What worries me the most is not recieving a diagnosis after 3 yrs of searching. I feel like I have nothing left in me to keep searching for an answer if this trip doesnt provide some. The biggest difference between my symptoms and all of yours that I have read is the location of the headache and or pressure. I never have any pain or pressure at the base of the skull or my neck. My problem is a mixture of dull pain and pressure directly on top of my head, like something is pushing down on my brain. My ears pop all the time, I have pressure in my face- especially when I bend forward or any slight pressure around my neck, and I have not been able to exercise in 3 yrs whenever I exert myself I can feel that ugly sensation of pain and pressure build and spread over my head and I will be in extreme pain for several days or weeks depending on how hard I exercise? If any of this applies to anyone or you can relate to what Im saying please let me know. It would be nice to find even ONE person who has the pain and pressure in the area I described because up till now I still question the diagnosis (not at TCI) I recieved a year ago. Is chiari really whats going on with me?. Your thoughts are always very much appreciated. thanks, wade
