4 Days Post-Op & feeling Great

I'm Suzzie, I am 23 years old and I just had the decompression on June

20th (Friday) at UC by Dr. Boggan. My surgery went wonderful, it

only took 2 & 1/2 hours and after I woke I was remarkably aware of

everything. I already notice a big change in my life with all my

symptoms. I have not had any " drop attacks " , the only headaches Ive

had is from the surgery site.I finally feel like ME!!! I have spent 23

years, my whole life, feeling sick and depressed, never finding an

answer and all the doctors and nurses treating me like a drug

addict.Surprisingly the UC staff was great and very caring.Dr.

Boggan told my family that he had removed a certain bone in the back

of my head and he said that my flow started to flow very nicely. I

woke feeling a little drowsy but overall I was OK.I am no longer

having " drop attacks " , swallowing problems are ,minimized, I could

actually eat a nice sized meal and not feel like I had eaten the

fridge, No more brain fog, I can think very clearly and my slurring

speech isn't as bad as it used to be.So over all I feel A LOT better

and I am so glad I had the decompression!!! Thanks for all your

prayers and terrific support, you have all helped me out and made me

feel good about having the surgery.
