Guest guest
A post from Tammy, a new member, was so sad to read. My heart goes out to you Tammy. One thing I have been told many times is, in order to control chronic pain, we can't allow it to become too intense, if we are able to do anything to prevent it from happening. I can see where you would really be having a lot of trouble sleeping and just doing anything at all in a normal fashion when you are only able to have your pain med after you are hom e from work. It is a situation many of us are familiar with, for sure. I pray you will be able to get disability soon. It is next to impossible to control the type of pain we have, even when we are at home and have the opportunity to take medication on a regular time schedule ( and before it begins raging) The best we can do is manage the pain, and, that too isn't always possible. I miss my life as it was before this became symptomatic. Sometimes I just need to whine a little....that wasn't my intention when I began typing this but, I am so tired of hurting and needing to take medicine. I am tired of being afraid of facing any further progression, tired of worrying about it....sorry guys. Thanks for being here.....didn't know I was feeling so sorry for me.....funny how being with you all can allow me to feel this way and know you will all understand. I think tomorrow will be better ;*-D Warm Regards, Judy Marie
