Guest guest
I had my consultation with, Dr. Wolff, a neurosurgeon here in Pensacola. I was very impressed with him. He agrees that I have Chiari and feels it does need to be treated; however, he also mentioned tethered cord which surprised me that he brought it up instead of me having to ask about it. He wants to try to get an MRI of my thoracic and lumbar regions but it probably won't work because of my rods. If the image is not clear then I'm going to have to have a mylogram which is no fun at all. Once I have the additional tests, I'll see Dr. Wolff again for the results. He did say that if I have TCS he would want to treat it first. I'm going to make sure I ask all the questions concerning his experience at my next appointment but so far I am pleased with him.
