Guest guest
At least for me ptp. Mom is 37 wks pregnant and has engorged breast with clogged duct doctors want her to start pumping so she pumped for the first time for 20 min and got what she has described as straight blood about .5 ounce. I have not seen mom yet I am just going off what she is telling me. She's wondering how often to pump. She reports her breast has been swollen and sore for months. She had a consult with a surgeon and they made a point to say she needed to get this resolved before delivery or she wouldn't be able to breastfeed. This is mom's first child. Has anyone seen or heard of this? What would you recommend. Karman Romero IBCLC, RN, BSN www.babysbreaststart.com
