I was decompressed On June 20th, So I am 19 Days Post-Op and I feel

pretty good but I am having a few new problems. About a week ago I

woke up, took my meds, then an hour later I got sooooo nausous and had

to go to the restroom and vomit, after that I have been feeling like I

over did it. The last night I hadto go to the ER because Ihad my head

turned just a little looking at the T.V. and the I coughed and I got

and excrutiating pain in the front right side of my head, the CT came

baclk normal and they sent me home. Today The pain is in 3 different

areas when I cough or have to get flem out of my throught. Has anyone

else had this happen before or after surgery.I am afraid it may be a

CSF leak or a CSF blockage. It is the worst pain I have felt, like a

stabbing throbbing pain. Please let me know if you have any info

either personal email or on the group is fine too.

Besides that I am doing so great, some days I do over do it, I finally

feel like ME again and now I just have to get my weight down and then

I have to wait to go back to work..Most if my pre-op symptoms have

gone away or have lessened, I am no longer having my horrible

blackouts or " drop attacks " its been 20 days since I have had

one!!!When they did the decompression they took out a bone in the back

of my skull and said that the flow started flowing better, so now I

have a soft spot in the back of my head, My stitches are out and Ian

Healing fine, my scar is looking better and better... I hope everyone

is doing well and is having as pain free of a day as you can. Thank

you everyone for all your support and advice as I went through this

journey that has still not ended but has definately gotten a lot better!
