Guest guest
I can't even begin to say how important it is to have a neurologist who can find his way around the final pictures from your MRI. Throughout the years since my first diagnosis, I have read every report any radiologist has sent to the ordering doctor....I swear: this is the truth. I had a chiari malformation at 10 ml length with syringomyelia from C-1 to T-5 and one of the reports said everything was normal, with the exception of a minor thing he found and, that was Sinusitis.......I was seething I now have requested the radiologist who I will allow to read my films now. He is the one who diagnosed me.....You do have the right to have your choice about this. UGG( almost time to get into that capsule again) " Oh Happy Day " It always amazes me, the way each radiologist will either see or NOT SEE our problems.......so if you happen to get the one who slept through class while he was supposed to be learning to recognize what is right under his nose, try to question your doctor about what he sees and ask Him to show you exactly what is there as he points it out with both of you looking at the pictures. There is just no excuse for any doctor to say he must go by what the radiologist tells him! They are dealing with YOUR future!!
