Guest guest
I was reading today that 30% of people who go in for unrelated MRI's show a chiari malformation. They are asymptomatic, but the chiari is found incidentally. Wow - that means that 30% of people have some sort of herniation. Actually, probably more, because those are just the asymptomatic patients. Of course, I know that some patients may actually be symptomatic and are misdiagnosed - but either way, 30% of people. Just wondering if anyone else has heard this.
