Possible nerve damage?

I had surgery 1/7/08 and have had constant upper back pain since. As of

yesterday I am getting burning sensations and it also feels like

electric shock going through my back near my right shoulder blade. It

is just getting so much worse and unbearable. I can't even pick my kids

up without horrible burning pain.

Could this be permanent nerve damage? If so, is there anything they can

do for it? I was just wondering if it would be worth putting a call

into my doctor.

Thanks in advance! Hope you are all doing well!

Just as a nurse, not having surgery myself, it would be worth calling, anytime

you have pain that is different or worse. The pain could be caused by adhesions

from scar tissue. You never know.

Hope that help,

Latrell
