Guest guest
Hi Dan, Yes, I have tried DMSO for lipomas: DMSO alone, DMSO with iodine.. reasonably long trial periods at that as to be able to say: DMSO does not make an ounce of difference. Liposuction for lipomas is not recommended. The usual procedure is a small incision and the lipoma is pushed out. That is when it is a clear encapsulated movable lipoma. If and when lipomas have formed around other tissue (nerves and/or muscles) neuro surgery is often the only option. I have heard of (small) successes as a result of supplementing with enzymes: a combination of lipase, amylase and protease. It appears that for som it stopped further development of existing lipomas, some had decrease in size and others experienced no further development of new lipomas. Having used the enzymes, further development of existing ones appears to have slowed down, and decrease in size (on lower limbs, not elsewhere on the body) although I tend to think it hasn't quite stopped development of new ones. There are a few support groups where 'owners of these lipomas' share their experiences; I haven't got the web site addy handy but it is a lipoma support group at yahoo. Another group is the Dercum's support group, one of the conditions which manifests in lipomas (painful and often disfiguring as well). Hope this helps. Guest guest
Homeopathic Silicea 200C is good for resolving encapsulations. I have also slathered therm with Zinc Oxide ointment on horses and used Tee Tree, but these were not Lipomas, they were sterile abcesses. Guest guest
Homeopathic Silicea 200C is good for resolving encapsulations. Please provide additional details. Do you give this once, or on an ongoing basis? How long before your readminister? How long before you know if it is working? should it not be used in conjunction with other homeopathics?thanks,Mara
