Guest guest
Born August 12th (July 31st, old Russian style ) in 1831, at Ekaterinoslav, Ukraine, Russia, Daughter of Col. evich van Hahn, and Helena Andreyevna ne'e de Fadeyey, renowned novelist who died young. Granddaughter on maternal side of Privy Councillor-- Andrey Mihailovich de Fadeyev, and Princess Helena Patvlovna Dolgorukov. Married, 1849, to Nikifor Vassilyevich Blavatsky, a State Official, very much her senior. " Helena Pavlovna Blavatsky " made a very deep impression on some of the most powerful and influential people of her time. ( including myself ) and others like me. She was a Catalyst for change, and an inspiration for women around the world, & for new un-orthodox religious movements. As well as some Bogus Cults. I learned a great deal from her Books, whether or not they are considered factual by the Orthrodox community. Who swallows whole, the scriptures as literal fact. oh my! Regards S.C.
