Sue, it sounds like you are having trouble with humidity. The reason you

don't have a problem with the one with oatmeal is probably because the

oatmeal is soaking up the water.

If your customers complain, you don't have much choice; you can either

replace the product or offer a different product or return the money. If you

know the people that bought them, it may be wise to contact them to see if

they are having problems. There are a couple of reasons for contacting them.

Number one is that you want to keep them as customers. Some people won't

complain, but they will never buy from you again. The humidity could be

localized to your house and not theirs, so they may not be having a problem.

There can be many reasons for humidity. It can range from your lifestyle to

how your house was built, to where your house was built, or a combination of

factors.

Thanks for your input with the bath salt problem, Pat. You seem to

have summed up the situation very well.

I did contact one person who bought the salts and she has had no

problems with them. There is another I will be calling later on

tonight. My house is old, and built on a stone foundation with a dirt

floor in the cellar. It's hard to imagine this, but I guess the

dampness down there is coming up and affecting the salts. I've turned

the dehumidifier in the soaproom up to max to try to dry it out a bit.
