Our son was placed on Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin) by his pediatric neurologist for

his headaches.  He's been on B2 for the last 2 years and we feel we've seen an

improvement in his headaches.  He still gets the headaches, but not as often and

not as severe.  He started at 100 mg daily and is now taking 400 mg daily (top

dose). It is always best to disperse the dose throughout the day, so he takes

200 mg in the AM and 200 mg in the PM.  The 400 mg is an adult maximum

dose...Our son is 6'1 " and 180 pounds.  I would ask your neurologist about

vitamin B2.  I did some research online and at the bookstore in herbal books

which confirmed that vitamin B2 is used for headaches.  Most of the B vitamins

help with the brain and nervous system. Hope this is helpful.  Please make sure

that before you try any additional vitamins or herbs to always check with your

doctor to make sure that it does not interact with any of your other meds as

well as to get his

approval if not to just make him aware that you added it to your medication

regimen.
