Guest guest
Dear Trish, I've been straining my cranium all day long trying to remember the name of an old member, the good Doctor from Texas who used run the Iditerod Dog sled race in Wasilla, AK. He used to write every now and then but always it seemed to me, at just the right moment to prove some point or other. Kinda reminded me of Mr. Ed the talking horse in that respect. I never did get to see much of the episodes of Northern Exposure, enough to remember the characters or story lines, but I enjoyed watching it when did. Maybe you can fill in some parallels that might be insightful to this York or as I renamed him Dork, character. My guess is, if a TV sitcom has any real Ed-ucational value as well as good humor, its days are numbered from the start, at least on prime time. I haven't watched TV on a regular basis in years now since this new interactive PC Screen went on line. Today people have a better choice between being pacified and Ed-ified. (Well, I tried to keep it serious again.) The Mutt

Guest guest
I just found out that the Pilot for the series Northern Exposure will be shown this Thursday (8AM and 2PM ET) on A & E. The series is beginning again! So if you never saw it, and I didn't, here is our chance to see it from the beginning. And Trish says it is the only " overtly Jungian show shown on tv " so we might talk about the episodes and characters as they unfold. Talk about it from a Jungian point of view. Want to?
