Guest guest
I was am very disturbed about this information. I don't know if it benefits us in Bastrop County, but like you say eventually it will effect all of Texas. What is going on?! There already is not enough help for children with autism in Texas. State institutions, never! We have to do something, and I believe it needs to be more than writing letters. Why can't we gather many of us from all over Texas, and go in groups and visit representatives for all regions, and then get some news coverage like so many other special interest groups do. We don't know if our correspondence actually gets to the person intended. It is so important for our children and families that children with autism in Texas get the same attention and treatment and support from the state government that other states offer. People are moving to New Jersey from India no less! We have to gather together and show Texas the NUMBERS involved here. What do you think? Can we do it? Who has some ideas on how to organize this, and locate all the children with autism in Texas? Hope to hear something on this. C.
