It would be grand to find an opportunity to show you around Rosslyn and to

see it through your eyes. If there's a place could redeem Christianity for

me this is it. The carving is like a shaman's dream - makes you wonder how

it survived the various purges. I've visited many times, as I used to live

just down the road a wee bit, and always notice something completely new.

There's a tiny place nearby called Temple - yep that's right you guessed

first time - the old ruined church there has some wonderful gravestones as

does Greyfriars in the heart of Edinburgh. Judging by the symbols on the

stones it's filled with Masons. And while we're at it we could scoot down

to the Eildon hills and see the place where the Rhymer met the Queen

of Fairfolk. Ach, someday perhaps a Grail.

Saw graves of Knights Templar again this oct, wee mac, in Kilmartin

graveyard, s of Oban. also barrows n standing stones inTemplewood.

and thought of u at Loch Rannoch....
