Guest guest
Dear all, I am currently treating a man in his 70s with severe resting tremor in both hands. He has been thoroughly investigated and there is no clear cause, although there seems to be a family history. He had a TIA a few years ago (well after the tremor developed), and has been dx with polycythaemia. He was put on digoxin and warfarin, again well after the tremor had developed. I have tried using various relaxing herbs to absolutely no avail. Bartram gives Datura as an option, but I would really like to hear of people's experiences of treating tremors and maybe think of other possible types of treatment for this man if herbal medicine can offer nothing. He has tried tranquillisers from his GP and also acupuncture - both made no difference. All ideas and suggestions gratefully received. Thanks Kate MNIMH kb.herbs@...
